States of Mind by June Linowitz

States of the thoughts of a bulimic. States Of Mind is a fully illustrated and automatically written book that shares the journey from self-hate and fear to love, from darkness to light. The author writes creatively from three separate states of the screaming fear that hates, the guilt and shame that condemns and the quiet light that loves. The text is uniquely accompanied by images that have been created for the book to help the reader, the sufferer, understand the thoughts more fully, and to see the fear and hope more clearly. The hope of this book is that the reader will identify his or her own thoughts, will disbelieve the darkness and will find and believe their own loving voice that is within them. States Of Mind will not tell you how to get better, but it will show you the thoughts that lead to the light. It is a guide through the hell of a bulimic's self hate to the light of self love.
